2024 Oct Update: New high-res version of the comic is coming AND I've moved this out of order so that you can read Chapter 2 without interruption, so my blog post might be a little out of whack with reference to dates.
Character trivia! In the original Pirates comic I wrote... like back in 2003ish? Marina was taken captive in a botched robbery-turned-massacre and seduced Ivanhoe to get free. In that comic, all the characters were considerably older, like 22-23ish. There was supposed to be an running joke about Ivanhoe's horrendous luck with women while the rest of the crew were getting laid like crazy (even Chuck lol). This comic was INCREDIBLY stupid.
Anyways, Ivanhoe ends up marrying Marina in the original comic and become like a Legitimate Couple.
