Comic notes:

• On the grade 9 geography trip, someone tried to drive the subway car but was refused. I wrote about it in my livejournal: "We switched trains and then the guy who kissed the window [at Much Music] annoyed the driver on the subway and he said something about all [BRSS] students must get off the train at the next stop."
• The subway station that they don't use any more is Bay Lower. They actually do film movies there. Grimes' music video for Kill V. Maim was filmed in it. You can see it when they do Open Doors Toronto. I've see it a couple times, mainly during some track work back in the day. I guess that construction was notable enough to make the Wikipedia page for the subway station. Thanks train nerds!

This is the origin story of the origin story! How did the pirates become friends? What was Ivanhoe like in school? After getting expelled and denied entrance to a private high school, Ivanhoe Scott gets sent to Black River Secondary where he meets his future best friends who later become the π-rates. Ivanhoe is approached by an older student named Kingston, who convinces him to dig up some "treasure" buried and abandoned by some gangsters. What follows is the camping trip from hell...
