Comic Notes:

• This is almost exactly what happened in my high school music class one day. One student who wanted to switch to a different instrument (I think it was the drums), but he was screwing around and improvising too much, which pissed off the teacher. He normally played the bass and I remember screaming at him to get back on the bass.
• The music room is based off of my high school's music room. I was a band geek. Bassoon and tenor sax were my instruments. I also played the piano.
• Zabetta's shirt says "Let's Get Bizet". She will make an appearance in Chapter 3...

This is the origin story of the origin story! How did the pirates become friends? What was Ivanhoe like in school? After getting expelled and denied entrance to a private high school, Ivanhoe Scott gets sent to Black River Secondary where he meets his future best friends who later become the π-rates. Ivanhoe is approached by an older student named Kingston, who convinces him to dig up some "treasure" buried and abandoned by some gangsters. What follows is the camping trip from hell...
