So, the chapter 1 flashback is almost entirely from Ivanhoe's perspective. Anything shown that he isn't personally involved in is something that one of the crew has told to him. I'm going to be doing a little run of a "how did Ivanhoe not die - the comic" to fill in the blank over on Patreon one of these days, and I'll be posting is a webcomic voting reward. I will make a note of when that starts. I haven't actually started drawing it yet, but it's something I've been wanting to do.
